A beautiful blend of Ethiopian Sidamo and Indonesian Sumatra Mandheling
Mocha Java is said to be the world’s oldest coffee blend, combining two premium coffees with complementary characteristics. Originally, this blend was created with Single-Origin Yemen and Indonesian Java Arabica beans. Today, most commercial blends have substituted a lively, intense, and earthy Ethiopian bean for the Yemen, while still using Indonesian beans. Our Mocha Java blend is roasted slightly darker than your typical medium roast. It is full-bodied with a rich, nutty taste, a complex aroma, and hints of cacao. Indonesian Sumatra brings a deep earthiness to the cup and is balanced out by the bright, acidic taste of the Sidamo.
